Born and raised in his native Sweden, Ingemar studied music from a young age, leading him from percussion, horn and classical guitar to his current multitude of stringed instruments such as guitars, mandolin, swedish nyckelharpa (keyfiddle), as well as percussion and vocals. A number of the songs on the repertoire are written by him. He came to the United States at the age of 25 and launched a musical career in the Cleveland-Kent region of Ohio. Since, he has been in a number of musical groups and was a founding member of Song of the Lakes.
