| Raised in Detroit, Mike grew up with a variety of musical influences, ranging from his grandfather's Irish tenor to the Chicago blues of Muddy Waters. His music reflects a life long effort to understand relationships. He has resided in Northern Michigan with his wife and three children since 1977 and been a part of many artistic projects, including the lead role in the film "Sleeping Bear."
